The Burrow West End (Bris) are having a joyous Cider Festival on Saturday 3rd June, to celebrate World Cider Day. There will be slow cooked piglet injected with Willie Smith cider, and 5 cider companies spreading the joy of all things cider. Not to mention Hot mulled cider. We are very excited, so come on down and get in to the spirit of cider!!

Our crew in Byron is teaming up with JR's Smokehouse and Stone & Wood to put on a BBQ dinner and help raise much needed funds for the community's flood victims. There will be a share table feast of smoked meats and other dishes served with Stone & Wood beers and accompanied by the Dan Hannaford Band. The ticket price is just $55 and that gets you three courses and a beer on arrival - with all profits from the night going to the Mullumbimby & District Community Centre.

In Grosvenor Hotel’s biggest tap takeover yet, brews from the sunshine state feature in a stellar line-up. Sample beer from up-and-coming breweries Newstead, Green Beacon, Balter, Black Hops & Good Beer Co.
Throughout the festival, tasting paddles will be available, allowing you to taste each of the brews or settle on a favourite and join us for a pint.

Now in its fourth straight year, the Stones Corner community have announced the date and line-up for 2017s instalment of one of Brisbane's favourite street parties.
This years attendees will also experience some marvellous music from the incredible up and coming star Sahara Beck, to Alt-country troubadour Luke Daniel Peacock, Dub and reggae party act, Hemingway and local evergreen warriors, the Stress of Leisure. There will be plenty more to whet peoples musical appetites during the day as well with more to be announced.
This year will also see a bigger licensed area and a giant new beer garden area. The festival has been famous for bringing together a wide range of craft beer and wineries, coupled with only the best food trucks from the region, market stalls and plenty of activities for the whole family. There's no better reason to come down and soak up the festival atmosphere and experience everything that is tasty and musical about Brisbane.
